First Sudbury, then East Sudbury, then finally Wayland, the Town of Wayland has a long and windy history.  At one time Puritans, residents of Wayland built the first public library in Massachusetts, and more recently have developed what has become one of the top-ten school systems in Massachusetts. Wayland is a town of chapters.
