It’s not a poster, a letter, a photograph, a baseball card, an advertisement, a label, a rare historical document, or even a visiting card.  If it’s printed on paper and reminds you of any of those items, but you can’t put your finger on exactly what it is, you’ve probably got a trade card or a broadside.

Your cards or broadsides may have historical value, and they certainly have enough artistic value that you think they may also have value at auction.  There’s a good chance you are right, especially if you have a whole collection of them.
